That's just my take on the song what are your thoughts on it.The domestic VHS release of the film settled for a short synopsis to pitch the film: I am not there yet but hopefully one day I will be. Granted its slowly just becoming one of my favorite songs and not just my absolute favorite just because things have been happening that it does not whole sale apply to me anymore at least my own personal interpretation of it. Given my slightly loneliness, longing for a significant other sometimes and having dreams crushed at almost every turn in my life this song just speaks to me. I know what it means in context of the album but I always until recently and even sometimes today interpret it as someone who is alone walking through all of their broken wishes and dreams (duh), and just longing for someone to love them (in a significant other kind of way). Look I know this is like one of their most popular songs but it just really speaks to me. I kind of wish it wasn't and its slowly becoming not my favorite any more not my anthem. This is my favorite song of all time and my anthem for my life.
